Once the injury has been reported to us and the worker confirms that they want to pursue their claim in terms of the Act, the claim will be assessed. If pursuit of the claim is viable, then the legal process will commence.

We can only consider claims where the actual or proposed COID settlement is a minimum of R80 000 or the injury results in a major pay scale reduction.


Umthetho utshintshile – Ungakwazi ngoku ukufaka ibango.

Ukusukela ngomhla we-7 Februwari 2014, iMimiselo yeZokwakha emiselwe ngaphantsi koMthetho i-Occupational Health and Safety Act (uMthetho) yatshintsha ngokubhekiselele kubasebenzi abakwiziza zokwakha.


Abasebenzi abakwisiza kufuneka banikwe izibonelelo ezaneleyo ukuze bakwazi ukwenza umsebenzi wabo ngokukhuselekileyo nangaphandle komonzakalo kwiimpilo zabo ngokwemimiselo yoMthetho.


Ulwazi olubonisa nabuphi na ubungozi obukhoyo kwindawo yokusebenza kufuneka bonke abasebenzi balunikwe. Oku kuquka iingcebiso malunga nabo nabuphi na ubungozi obaziwayo ngaphambi kwakunye nangexesha lomsebenzi wabo.
